Registration for workshops is opened, please make up your mind and choose the best option for you, bearing in mind the first come first served rule, as number of participants of each workshop is limited.

You can attend workshop in person or online consistently with declared attendance in the EWGEA Annual Meeting.

EWGEA offers one online workshop and 3 in person workshops, moderated by representatives of SAIs and ECA, as follows:  

In person

  1. Too much water… – SAI Belgium
  2. Response and environmental consequences of natural disasters or extreme weather events –  SAI Czech Republic
  3. Preparedness – how to assess meeting goals of resilience to natural disasters? –  European Court of Auditors

  • What is the situation in your country on this topic.
  • What audits/risk assessments have your SAI carried out on this topic so far?
  • What were the challenges or issues encountered?
  • Are your SAI plans new audits/risk assessments on this topic in the nearest future?

Annual Meeting subject will be Extreme weather events: preparedness strategies. Everyone should be informed what disasters and hazards could affect their closest area, how to respond and where to go in case of evacuation and receive a real-time emergency alerts.

We would like to kindly encourage EWGEA member’s auditors to share experience: biggest challenges and recommendations concerning auditing preparedness for disasters and emergencies as well as their remedies. We believe everyone has interesting stories to tell: let us know by completing call for contributions form.
