Dear Colleagues,

due to the fact that you expressed your willingness to conduct workshops during the EUROSAI YES conference, you will find a list of topics to choose from below. If you are interested in a particular topic, please add your name and surname in the empty box.

Each workshop topic is conducted simultaneously by three speakers. The list below contains main topics for which you can propose any content with three questions to ask participants during the workshops.

  1. The use of artificial intelligence in audit. Prospects and limitations:
    • What is the use of artificial intelligence in auditing in your countries and what benefits does it bring?
    • What challenges and limitations do you encounter when implementing AI technology in the audit process?
    • What regulations and standards regarding the use of AI in auditing are in place in your countries, and how do they impact the audit process?
  2. Auditor ethics in the context of the use of artificial intelligence in audit:
    • What are the main ethical challenges of using artificial intelligence in audit processes, especially in the context of privacy and data protection?
    • What steps should auditors take to minimize the ethical risks associated with artificial intelligence usage?
    • What ethical principles should guide auditors when reviewing and evaluating the results generated by an AI system in the audit process?
  3. New competencies and skills required in the era of artificial intelligence:
    • What soft skills, such as communication and collaboration, are crucial for auditors working in teams composed of technology experts and data analysts?
    • How can auditors develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills to effectively evaluate and interpret AI-generated results?
    • How can auditors develop data analysis and interpretation skills to improve the quality and accuracy of their audits using AI-generated results?
