We are glad to invite you to the upcoming EWGEA Web Seminar: Geospatial, remote and AI Auditors Tools.
The seminar will be held online on 18 June 2026 from 10:00 to 12:00 CEST.
This web seminar follows the EWGEA Spring Session generously hosted by SAI Spain in Madrid last May, and explores approaches to data from geospatial applications and remote sensing, processed with use of AI, to increase knowledge base and highlight how different sources can be engaged and included in audit procedures.
Climate and environmental audits regard a wide range of complex and time sensitive issues, accompanied by significant transformation processes.
Therefore, effectively communicating the audit findings and connecting with people on the ground on the matter is important.
The aim of the web seminar is to deepen the understanding of opportunities and challenges in designing audits and to share applicable tools with the EWGEA community. Besides an auditor perspective on the matter, the web seminar will also explore the environmental monitoring support’s options and encourage to use the Earth observations data from the ESA.
